Within the framework of the UNESCO Green Schools Action Project (GSAP) initiative, the Climate Change Education (CCE) is being integrated into the curriculum and operations of schools in several countries. The integration of CCE in school curricula will contribute in developing knowledge, behavior, attitude, and skill of learners to respond to the environmental issues threatening their communities.
The Green School initiative uses action based approach that promotes investigative, evaluative, action-oriented thinking, enabling learners to make informed decisions for the benefit of themselves and others, now and in the future.
