Education International Asia-Pacific (EIAP) is pleased to invite all to a regional webinar on the theme “Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Education and Teaching in Asia-Pacific: Future of Work in Education”, to be held on 1 December 2021, 14:00–17:00 (Malaysia Time/GMT+8).
At this webinar, we are launching the report on the impact of the pandemic on education workers based on the survey and interviews where members of our unions in the Asia-Pacific actively participated. We thank you again for your engagement in this study, a collaboration of EIAP and the International Labour Organization Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific.
This gathering of union leaders and members aims to review and discuss the results of the study, to share related experiences of educators across the region, and formulate recommendations for unions and governments considering the pandemic and the future of work in education.

Languages: The main language of the event will be English, with interpretation into Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Mongolian and Nepali.
Registration: We invite you to register here no later than 29 November 2021. We also request your support in disseminating this invitation among your networks. We encourage women and young members to attend this regional launch and discussion of the study and our future actions.
