LE2030+ Webinar Series #1: Critical Role of Formative Assessment for Learning Recovery


On behalf of UNESCO and UNICEF, you are kindly invited to participate in the UNICEF-UNESCO joint webinar series on Learning Recovery Beyond COVID-19. As schools reopen across the Asia-Pacific region, UNESCO and UNICEF have joined hands to organize a series of webinars to inform, engage and provide tools for government and sector experts to support their COVID-19 education recovery efforts.

The purpose of this webinar series is to share emerging evidence and best practices to inform policy and practices in addressing learning loss due to school closures in the region.

Our first webinar in the series is on the Critical Role of Formative Assessment for Learning Recovery. It will be held on 25 JANUARY 2022 at 15:30-17:00pm Bangkok time (GMT+7). The webinar will cover how teachers can use formative assessment to remediate learning loss, ensure children are learning at the right level, improve learning outcomes and prevent dropout. It will include country examples of good practice from across the Asia Pacific region.
