UNESCO-Japan Prize on ESD: Call for nominations 2021

 

The call for nominations of the 6th edition of the UNESCO-Japan Prize on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is now open.

Funded by the Government of Japan, the Prize consists of three biennial awards of US $50,000 for each recipient.

The nomination process takes place via an online platform: https://unesco.sharepoint.com/sites/committees/ESD-Prize/

  • UNESCO Permanent Delegations and National Commissions will be able to connect with their existing generic user accounts (see user guide here).
     
  • NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO will need to request to use the platform here. (see user guide here)

The online nominations should be submitted by Permanent Delegations or NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO via the online form in English or French by 30 April 2021 at the very latest (midnight, Paris time).
